The best shorts! I was hesitant to try these shorts, but they turned out to be one of the best. They fit very well and stay up, no need for bibs. These shorts mold to my body very well and are so comfortable for short or long rides. I like my kits to be more skin tight, so a small was perfect. I have a muscular built, 128 lbs, 5'1".
I bought a large b/c Italian sizes run smaller than American. I am 5"7' and 135#. These fit really nice. High in the back and front. The legs have the right amount of grip so they don't creep up at all. The short inseam doesn't seem short at all - it is the same length as my other bike shorts.
These are the best shorts. They stay in place, no need for bib.
I love these shorts! The chamois has enough padding to keep me comfortable for hours in the saddle. The waistband has a higher back, which I like. The leg grippers are comfortable and stay in place without rolling. The fabric is lightweight and dries quickly. I wore these on a humid 90 degree day for a 2 hour ride to test them out and they performed beautifully!
1st a little history: My FRC bibs are hands down the best I've used. I ride from 3 to 8 hours in my bibs, so I test them as not all make the long haul. These FRC shorts work as well as the bibs. When you forget you're wearing a chamois, you know the fit is great. I've tried most of the other high end brands, and unless I have to buy a team kit, I'm only ever buying FRC shorts and bibs! Totally worth it. And they last after many washings in gentle, and don't have that "worn" look other ones I've tried do. I ride an average 10 hours a weeks year round. They are an Italian fit, so they run small compared to those made in the US or China. I had to size up.
