Temps flexible jacket.
One ride started in low 40's and ended close to 60. Light base layer and short sleeve jersey.
Second ride low 30's start ending in upper 50's. warmer base layer and short sleeve jersey.
It kept me warm at the start and not hot and sweaty on climbs and at the end of rides with easy unzip and zip up with thicker gloves. It worked like AC control.
Like extra zip pocket on back for keys etc,
Tight on shoulders when walking around but it goes away on the bike with good fit for riding without any flapping in a wind. Simply unzip when walking. Back pockets are practical. Tall and slim. Nice extra flexible tail cover for wet roads.Best jacket I ever had.
Remarkably effective jacket! Blocks wind almost completely, letting just enough in to help vent excess heat. Almost TOO warm in our California "winter"! An excellent all-day garment, pairs extremely well with either the short or long-sleeve ceramic base layers, depending on outside temp.
The cut feels a bit awkward at first because it's meant to support you in the riding position, but on the saddle I feel sleek and locked in. Off the saddle, I simply keep it half or fully unzipped to allow the shoulders more freedom of movement.
If you only buy one winter garment, make it this one.
