nice but.....
Its a well made jacket with nice features. it breathes pretty well. i paired with a midnight merino base on a 38F cloudy day and was good for the most part. My only complaint is sizing, the small fits like a medium so was a bit loose on me.Im 5'8 137 lbs 39in chest. im gonna keep it but i would only only use on training rides.
Very Impressed
Had a cold enough day to give the jacket a go. The temps were 36 degrees @ 6am this morning. Under the jacket all I wore was a regular base layer and normal jersey. I was warm on my way to meet the ride. Spent a 45 minutes riding to the meet spot. The ride is a hard fast ride for about a good 45 minutes. The jacket was perfect, even while I was getting killed on the paceline. We wound it up to 35 mph and no issues. I thought the fit was a bit loose when I first tried it on but during the ride it did not flap at all. Even my bare arms were just fine. The heat regulation was good with no real sweat buildup underneath. Even when the sun came out the jacket did not heat up and stayed well ventilated. Once at the coffee stop I took it off and slid on my arm warmers I had in my pocket and folded the jacket up and slid it just under my jersey at the back.
