Questa è la giacca che cercavo da tempo, perfetta in tutto, anti vento e pioggia, anche sotto il temporale ha fatto il suo lavoro egregiamente! Per climi rigidi, tiene molto caldo.
I purchased the AV Versa jacket in late winter to use while riding my fatbike. I was immediately impressed by the fit and comfort of the jacket. At 6'1 and 160 pounds I went with a large and it fit perfect. With a nice base layer I can ride temperatures ranging from 15-50 degrees without freezing or overheating. The collar of the jacket zips up snug to keep heat in when necessary but is hardly noticeable when unzipped. The straight cut cuffs fit great under my winter gloves. The back of the jacket is long enough to protect from any snow or water kicked up by the rear tire. The pockets are large and easy to access. The fabric is very water resistant. Overall this is great jacket and I find myself using it in many different situations.
Living in Salt Lake City, we get some pretty cold temps during the winter, and I do not enjoy riding a trainer for 4 months during fall/winter. So, I having a warm winter jacket is essential. The Versa jacket fits my needs almost perfectly! The jacket is not heavy, but I have ridden in the mid-20's comfortably, without overheating on long climbs. Also, the Versa's long tail and outer layer does an amazing job keeping things dry in snow, rain showers and road spray. As a bonus, the Versa provides a ton of reflectivity, which helps to stay visible to cars in dark conditions. The Versa is very well made, and is a perfect investment as a winter jacket that will last for many seasons. I am 6' tall, and around 185-190lbs during the winter, and I went with the XXL Versa. As reference, I am an XL in a FR-C jersey, and up-sized for the Versa. It does not have the give in the fabric that a jersey does. I use the Versa when the temps are between 25-40degrees.
