VIRGIL NORMAL COLLECTION
Virgil Normal is a space for clothing and home goods in Los Angeles that specializes in working with independent designers and artists.
The disco ball design of this kit is inspired by a love for Arthur Russell, Larry Levan, and the Paradise Garage– the whole scene from The Kitchen to the Loft.
“Hai il sedere a cipolla – quando lo guardo, piango.”
A FRENDLY STORE FOR FRIENDLY PEOPLE
Located near the corner of Virgil and Normal in the Silverlake neighborhood of Los Angeles, the store caters to gentlemen of sports and leisure.
"We like to entertain by getting friends with records together to play some tunes and drink a lot of Hoxie Spritzers.”

BEHIND THE COLLECTION FILM
"The phrase comes from back in the day me and my friends would write poetry in Spanish, finding it freeing and my buddy Kai came up with “Tu tienes nalgas de cebolla, cuando miro, lloro” in English it translates to
You have an onion butt, when I look at it, I cry.
For some reason it stuck with me. I had a customer from Italy translate it into Italian to go with the Giordana heritage.
I’ve been obsessed with the Chanel perfume ads from the 80’s and they always end with a cool catch phrase spoken by a narrator."
