Served purpose well.
It's been really chilly in the early mornings and quickly gets hot here in SoCal lately. This jacket has been perfect for me on these type of rides. It keeps me at a warm temperature to start and then I'm able to easily roll it up to put in my jersey back pocket when the sun heats up. No flapping and doesn't stick to my skin when I sweat. The armhole digs into my armpits a bit when I first put the jacket on, but I never notice it as an issue once I'm actually riding. I wear a M in both bibs and jerseys so it might be worth trying a L instead of a M for the jacket to see if the armholes are a better fit but again, doesn't seem to be an issue once I'm on the bike. I love the simple black design for a wind jacket. I would love to see a double zipper in the next iteration!
Recently used my windbreaker several days in a row during early morning, cool rides. It kept the chill out and provided just enough warmth that I didn’t need any warmers or additional layers. If you live in a windy place this windbreaker is essential.
I got this wind jacket primarily for cool mornings and for the slight drizzles in Southern California. This wind jacket is perfect for that! I love the reflective strip on the back as well, since I sometimes ride in the evenings/nights. The material is light, which makes it easy to store in my jersey pocket if I ever need to take it off. Overall, a perfect piece!
Fit is race cut and no extra fabric flapping around. I live in Southern California and my ride yesterday started in the 30's and finished in the 60's. Wind was whipping at times, and this jacket kept me at the perfect temp all ride. Breathes well (doesn't stick when sweaty), yet really does an amazing job of knocking down wind and keeping the body insulated. Love that it features pockets in the back as a lot of jackets forgo those and then accessing jersey pocket can be difficult while riding. Final positive is that is folds down soooo compact!! Only criticism would be to add more colors, but I'm sure that's coming.
